The trio Anil Ravipudi, Upendra Madhav and Praveen Varma have written the story for Aagadu. The story is quite routine but srinu vaitla has managed to etched the characters very well. The captain of the ship is well known for his narrative style which has lots of humor. Even this time srinu vaitla has done the same job. The first is filled up with super dialogues and fights and the second half is quite dragged. Dance choreography by prema rakshit is superb especially in the songs ‘ naari naai ‘ and ‘ bhel puri ‘. Editing is not bad. Cinematographer KV Guhan deserves appaluse for his impeccable work. SS thaman has composed nice tunes. Production values by 14reels entertainment is top notch.

Super star Mahesh babu essayed the cop role for the third time. He steals the show with his new attitude, dialogue delivery and dance. Tammanah is confined to songs to few scenes. She hasn’t got much scope for acting. Brahmanandam has done a good job. Once again Sonu sood nailed the villain role. Rest of the cast have done a great job.

Mahesh babu and Srinu vaitla combination had done a brisk business at boxoffice with Dookudu. Srinu vaitla has virtually retained the same cast and crew for aagadu. This one releases amidst with huge expectations from the fans and common movie goers. But the content of this film should have been much better than the present one. However, Aagadu is unstoppable in collections until the next big film release. Go and watch this film for the superstar.
