Ilayathalapathy Vijay, who grabbed an average grosser TUPAKI in Telugu is coming as ANNA this time. Vijay is directing this movie. Amala paul is paired Opposite Vijay. G.V.Prakash composed music. Let us move in to the review.
Vishwam (Vijay), a dancer wanna win competition in Australia. He falls in love with Meera (Amala paul) daughter of suresh, a restaurent owner in Australia. Meera also loves Vishwam. After some incidents, Vishwam, Meera and Suresh comes to Mumbaito talk with Vishwam’s father Anna (Satyaraj) about vishwam’s marraige. There things change differently and takes a U turn. After some incidents, Anna is killed by Bhima ( Abhimanyu singh), an opponent to Anna. The rest of the story is all about How vishwam turns as Vishwam bhai and who are meera and suresh actually.
Vijay performed well. His dubbing is good and dances are nice. Amala paul is better than previous movies. Suresh did his best. Satya raj is nice as Anna. Abhimanyu singh is adequate. Santhanam comedy is very good.
First half is good especially interval block where as second half is boring. Director should have concentrate on screenplay in second half which goes in a flat way. When vishwam turns as vishwam bhai the emotion didn’t carried well. The climax is main drawback of this film. Audience are rushing out when the last song started.
Direction by Vijay is not bad. He have to improve in screen writing. The main minus is the second half. Dialogues by Shashank vennelakanti is good and Santhanam comedy is very good. Cinematography by Nirav shah is wasted. Music by G.V prakash is boring. Production values by Sri Mishri productions are rich.
