Gone are the days when a star film rules the box office. Audience have changed their mindset and  encourging the innovative scripts. Many upcoming directors are proving their talent with an innovative subjects.This year brings alot of good luck for budding directors. Most of the films directed by debutant film makers are fared well at the box office. Chandu mondeti’s ‘Karthikeya’, Hari’s ‘Lovers’ and Trikoti’s ‘Dikkulu choodaku Ramayya’ are comes under this list.

Apparently, Star actors films were turned out flops. Mahesh babu starred ‘1 nenokkadine’ earned  mixed reviews and his other film ‘Aagadu’ released amid huge expectations, turned out as disaster. Ram charan featured ‘Yevadu’ and ‘Govindhudu andharivadele’ got an average talk. Jr.NTR’s Rabhasa failed to give respite to the star actor. All those are high budget movies. Hackneyed scripts and lack of content are the main reasons for their failures. However, At the end of the day producers have become the victims of those disasters. Film maker should realise the fact that script is back bone of a movie. Otherwise, This saga will continue until the star filmmakers realise the success mantra of small films.
