Imtiaz ali has written and directed this film Slow narration is major issue of this film. There is no much back ground music. Cinematographer takes you to the beautiful locations of rajastan,Delhi, Simla and kashmir, Editing is not bad. Ar Rahman’s sets the mood for some time. Production values are extremely rich.

Alia bhatt is incredible in her role, Despite it is her second film she nailed it. Randeep Hood did a brilliant as mahabir. Rest of the cast is okay in their respective roles.

Snail pace narration makes you feel bore in some frames otherwise it is a good film to watch.
