Plot : Ashok Singhania (Saif Ali khan) is one of the billionaires in london. He lands in family business due to his father falls in coma. Stand up comedy his passion but Nobody likes his jokes. Shanaya (Tamannah) who is a TV anchor, finds ashok is funny. Ashok shares his feelings with his best friend, Kumar (Ritesh deshmukh). Kunwant amarnath singh AKA KANS ( Ram Kapoor) is the mama of ashok, eyes family business. He gives mind altering drug to kumar and ashok. they both go inane and lands in mental asylum. Finally, They ascertain that his mama is a wicked man. He finds help in humshakals and takes revenge on his mama.
Sajid khan has come up with unconvincing script and jaded narrative style. His last film himmatwala didnt do profitable business at boxoffice. Once again he has failed to enthrall the audience with his celluloid. There are lots of absurd scenes and twists. Editing is not good. Himmesh reshmiyya has composed music, its not bad. Sandeep shirodkar has provided back ground music. Cinematography is okay. Production values are not bad.
Saif ali khan is not perfect choice for the lead role he didn’t do well. Infact, he looks so pathetic in certain scenes. Ritesh deshmukh did a nice job but even he cannot able to save the film. Ram kapoor is good in his role. All the female lead actors have got much less screen space compared to male lead actors. Supporting cast hasn’t supported well.
Watch it at your own risk. Better to avoid this film.
