Nothing Wrong in I -Vikram

After facing a wrath from the transgender community, The protagonist of I, comes out in defence the director Shankar. Vikram says “A movie is a fiction and we were not intended to hurt anyone. We respect the sentiments of everyone in the society.Pointing out that the doctor character of Suresh Gopi also has negative shades,  in which case the entire doctor community should be feeling bad, what we have shown in the film doesn’t hold true for all doctors, transgenders, businessmen or models. It is just a film which is a product of imagination”.

The transgender artist, Ojas rajani also says “Director shankar didn’t degrade my character. So please stop all the protests”.

Despite with mixed talk and controversy, I is doing well at the box office. According to a source, Vikram will donate half of his salary which he earned from I movie to a school.
