After riding high on the success of Racegurram, Stylish star Allu Arjun has teamed up with sensational director Trivikram Srinivas. The duo has delivered box office hits with their last films respectively. Both the director and actor earlier teamed up for Julayi. It had raked in huge collections at the box offices.will the duo repeat their magic at the box office. To know this go through my review.
Viraj Anand ( Allu arjun) is the younger son of a tycoon, Satyamurthy (Prakash raj), Who follows the moral values and ethics. Anand gets engaged to a rich girl, Pallavi ( Adah sharma). One day Satyamurthy dies in an accident and Anand’s elder brother (Vennela Kishore) become a retard. The family needs to pay 300 crores debts. Pallavi’s father ( Rao Ramesh) Cancels the engagement. In the meantime, A cunning businessman, Sambhashiva Rao ( Rajendra Prasad) advises anand not to pay the debts but viraj declines it. While overseeing the things in wedding, He bumps into Sameera AKA Subba lakshmi ( Samantha). They both fall for each other. Viraj finds out that Sambhashiva rao’s daughter is sameera. The cunning business challenges viraj, inorder to marry his daughter he needs to get a 2 acres land, which is occupied by a dictator, Devaraju Naidu ( Upendra). How will viraj deal with devaraju naidu? Will viraj successful get that land back? And What will happen Satyamurthy’s family forms the crux of the story.
The captain of the ship come up with an archaic script. The story line is so simple, But Trivikram portrayed the characters in an outstanding way. You can experience plethora of emotions while watching It. Son of satyamurthy reminds me of A sanskirt quote “Dharmo Rakshathi Rakshitha ha”. If you follow the values then those values keep you safe. The first half is all about family emotions. A few scenes could have been easily chopped off in the latter half. Editor Prawin pudi haven’t used scissors well. Dialogues deserves a special appaluse. The rich visuals is an additional positive thing along with devi sri Prasad’s music. The talented music director scored apt background music.
For me, this is the best performance of Stylish star Allu arjun till date. In one scene, He explains about his father to his leading lady, Samantha, it made tears roll down in my eyes. Its not like iam a sensitive guy, the actor lived in that character. Samantha did a fabulous job. She offered a few laughs as a diabetic patient. Adah sharma didn’t get a big role to play. Nithya menen is confined to second half and she did a fine job. Rajendra Prasad is shown as a cunning guy in first half and comedian in the latter half, he pulled off that character with ease. Upendra’s role is minimal even though he made his mark.Sneha did a good job. The other supporting cast have done a fair job in their respective roles.
Overall, Son of Satyamurthy is an archaic story laced up with plethora of emotions. These kind of stories are much-needed in the current era where humane is extinguishing. In second half,A few annoying scenes could have been chopped off. However, Son of Satyamurthy tells you that Human Values are essential than anything. Businesswise, It will ring the cash registers at box office. Go and watch this family entertainer with your family and friends. I will go with Three and Quarter out of five.
