KCR reached Telangana Bhavan where he garlanded the statue of The father of Telangana professor Jayashankar and later went to Gun park to salute the statue of the Telangana sacrificers . The crowd was uncontrollable and at one point of time KCR was also stuck for few minutes.
Speaking to press, KCR said, It is a victory of the people !, But, The Telangana Bill needs to be passed in parliament before Monsoon session . My message to all the brothers of Andhra Pradesh: There is no need to worry. We will be together.,said KCR. On merger with Congress he said, It is too early to speak on merger and also hinted that KCR will stick to his words. He thanked the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the 32 parties which have submitted letters in support of Telangana and BJP .
