Adsumili Janardhana vara prasad who is popularly known as Ahuti prasad is passed away on 4th January 2015 at a private hospital in hyderabad. He lost the battle with cancer. On 2nd January 2015, he celebrated his last birthday with his family members. His film career started in 1986 with film ‘Vikram’ which is King Akkineni Nagarjuna’s debut film. He worked as an assistant director for V. Madhusudana Rao for the film ‘Malle Moggalu’. When he was doing the film ‘ Ee Prashnaku Baduledi’ producer Shyam Prasad saw his work and offered a role in ‘Ahuti’ film, That film gave him a big break and that’s film title became his surname. He earned a lot of accolades for his acting skills.
In 2003 He received a Nandi Award for Best Villain for the film ‘Nenu Ninnu Premistunnanu’.In 2008 he bagged an another Nandi Award for Best Character Actor for the film Chandamama.
