Plot:
The plot is about young man seenu(Karthik) with a reckless background, after he came out of jail he attended an interview for a live-in career job. For some strange reason, Vikram(Nag) the rich man, hired him as a care taker because he’s a quadriplegic. Then what are the consequences seenu faced with Vikram is the rest of the story.
Plus:
- Nag really did a brave job to act as a quadriplegic.
- Karthi comic timing is top notch.
- Tamannah was gorgeous and Prakash Raj did nice job
- P S Vinod cinematography was eye feast.
- PVP production values were great.
- Vamsi screenplay and direction was good
- Ravi dialogues were inspirational
- Gopi BGM was extraordinary
Minus:
Slow, 2nd half screenplay could have been better, Editing was moderate and average songs.
Bottom-Line:
Nothing works as strong plot magic even if some situations are so cinematically appealing. Seenu inviting everybody to dance during vikram’s birthday, his learning of the aristocratic world, the art of abstract painting, and the way he breaks the conventions with an unconventional charisma reaches a level of energetic comedy that reminds of the greatest days of Rajendra Prasad with comic movies as a perfect straight-man not deprived from a sense of humor. “Oopori” is simply an inspiring story of friendship with whatever defines this beautiful virtue.
Watch the film It will make you laugh, it will make you cry, a delightful celebration of everything in life that makes it worthwhile.
