cinemababu Veteran film director, Kailasam Balachander, who has been hospitalised due to some minor health problems was on Tuesday shifted to ICU for further treatment.
Super star Rajinikanth was rushed to the Kauvery hospital in chennai to see his mentor. “I went in to see KB sir and I’m happy to say that he recognised me. He is fine and he will get better,” Rajinikanth told reporters at the hospital.
Kauvery Hospital management has issued a statement on Tuesday, in a bid to end rumours of ace director’s health condition.
The Press Note signed by the Director of Medical Services said: “Veteran film director Mr. K. Balachander, 84 years, has developed urinary tract infection and admitted to the ICU for further treatment.
“He is critical but his general condition is stable. He is ably managed by a team”.
Yesteryear actress, Khushbu, Who met the veteran film maker, had posted this on twitter
“#K.BALACHANDER SIR is fine..its age related ailment..i am here with him at the hospital..#superstar just left..pls do.not believe the rumors”.
Cinemababu wishes him a speedy recovery.
