New Name for Nandi award

Nandi Awards is the highest award ceremony for excellence in Telugu cinema, Telugu Theater, Telugu Television, and Life time achievements in Indian cinema, presented annually by Government’s of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The Telangana government is now contemplating to rename the nandi awards. Cinematography minister of Telangana,  Talasani srinivas yadav says ” Three new names have been under consideration, The cheif minister KCR will give nod for one of the three names. The Government will extend support to telugu film industry”.
