A couple of years ago, Arvindh Kejriwal was a normal bureaucrat.Later, He had joined hands with social activist Anna Hazare for Anti-corruption Campaign 2011. Then, The former bureaucrat decided to float a party for proper governance and justice to the common people. In 2012, Arvindh kejirwal floated AAP ( Aam aadmi party) along with few social activists, Students and celebrities. With in one year, He had successfully managed to get the support of Delhi people despite facing huge criticism and political competence from his opponents .He defeated Sheila Dixit with huge margin. Arvindh kejriwal took Delhi cheif minister office on 28 December 2013. He resigned 49 days later, on 14 February 2014, stating he did so because of his minority government’s inability to pass his proposed anti-corruption legislation due to a lack of support from other political parties. Later he apologized for quitting midway. In 2014 lokshabha elections AAP was hammered by BJP. Unfazed of the lokshabha results. Arvind continued his attack on his political opponents. With in nine months, Despite BJP’s rule in central.AAP has sweeped 67 seats out of 70 seats in Delhi assembly elections 2015.
Jagdish Pradhan, Om Prakash Sharma and Vijender Gupta are the only three BJP candidates who withstood the AAP Tsunami and managed to win their seats in Delhi Assembly election. Former BJP state president Vijender Gupta won from his bastion Rohini once again. He has defeated C L Gupta of the AAP about 5000 votes. Neither Prime Minister Narendra modi’s charisma nor does Amit shah’s strategy worked out in this election. AAP tsunami victory is a big jolt to BJP big wigs. Now the new delhi cheif minister will take on Oath on 14th February 2015 evening at the Ramlila grounds, where he first made headlines as Gandhian activist Anna Hazare’s chief aide during the latter’s anti-corruption campaign.Ironically, He had earlier resigned as Delhi CM on 14th February 2014. Arvind Kejriwal, who tracked results all morning at AAP’s party office in west Delhi’s Patel Nagar, is now back home in Kaushambi, Ghaziabad, where he was welcomed by big crowds. The Aam Aadmi Party’s newly elected legislators will meet in the evening at the Constitution Club in Delhi to formally choose their legislative party leader. The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi will formally invite Mr Kejriwal to form government over the next couple of days.”The focus of his government would be on ending corruption and the VIP culture,” he said.It is not clear yet whether Arvind Kejriwal’s first Sunday as chief minister will be spent at work.
